Backrooms and Liminal Archives also does not fit in the Confic genres. If this is not obvious, Backrooms is the database with the information on how to survived in the Backrooms, and Liminal Archives is not that much different either.
Chaos Insurgency? They used anomalies.
And that is all the example of Confic that does not fit with its definition.
If none of them even fit with the Confic definition, why do they still count as Confic?
To answered this, we must asked why these confic even exist and how much are they similar to SCP and RPC.
Wayward Society might have the different goals than both Foundation and Authority. But the Society still have the same structure to both SCP and RPC. A council that lead the organization, Operated in secrecy, An classification for anomalies, and hide the anomalies from pubilc.
The Society might not be in same scale as Foundation and Authority, and may have other differences. But they still shared the similarities and Confic trait.
While Backrooms is far different from SCP, RPC, and Wayward. They also got inspiration from SCP Wiki and shared some Confic trait.

(Major Explorer Group, MEG)
Major Explorer Group (MEG) is the in-universe largest faction of Backrooms and what many will considered to be Confic organization of Backrooms. The group is run by “The Overseers”, a team of three that watches over the MEG and holds the most knowledge.
And yes, MEG is far from contained anomalies. But they still hide some information from the pubilc and runs by “The Overseers” which are inspired by O5 Council. I think that close enough to said that Backrooms still have some Confic trait.
Chaos Insurgency is operated in the secrecy and have the Confic trait.
UNCB and Oculus Initiative is what I will considered to be close to what will be Confic organization of Liminal Archives.
So what make Containment Fiction?
I think Containment Fiction is a genres of storytelling told from the perspective of the organization/group of people that dealing with anomalies.
That is probably the simplest answer to what could be describe as Confic.
While it did have the ‘Containment’ in the name of genres, That does not means all confic must focus on Containment.
Like since when did we can trust the names alone to defines what should be Confic?
The reason that Confic even have the name ‘Containment’ in the first place is because SCP and RPC defines what will be the entire genres of Confic.
SCP and RPC might have the focus on Containment, but I think that focus is optional element of what will be the confic.
Before you asked how something could be fit to the Confic genres, I think you should asked Why instead.
Instead of arguing on what defines Confic, I think we should look at what we accomplished as a writer and contributor.
Note: English is not my first language, so there might be some error in grammar, wording, and writing overall.
