Groups of Interest of the Russian Branch

Overview

The GoI of the Russian Branch act mostly in Russia and have an remarkable variety. Most of them house genius minds that constantly create new anomalies. At the moment, there are five Groups of Interest listed in the Russian Branch.

- Variety of sects that worship entropy in all its forms - Entropy concepts are anthropomorphized into the Gangrenous God and several smaller deities, the Permutation Portenders - Religious practices include self-mutilation, voluntarily infection and self-poisoning - Makes extensive use of anomalous artifacts for religious practices - Neutral towards the Foundation, but causes a lot of problems - Given their believe, it has no qualms regarding civilian causalities

Lefty

Lefty

- A single inventor well-versed in the creation of anomalies - Provides criminal organisations with his devices and substances - He claims his goods are his own design, but this is not certain - Leaves notes with his creations - Neutral towards of the Foundation - He doesn't care about what people do with his creations

The Hive and Lefty have a buisness relationship but Lefty has enough distrust to never show himself personally to the Hive.

Lefty has ongoing business cooperations with the Sleeves Rolled Up Club.

Logos Inc.

Logos Inc.

- Was originally a project of the Foundation and the GOC in the 1990s - Due to the turmoil between the Foundation and the GOC, Logos became independent and went rogue - Pursues scietific advance in the fields of medicine, IT and psychology - Hostile towards of the Foundation

The Hive and Logos Inc. work together in certain fields. The higher echelon is wary, however, because of the notable pro-Hive sentiment.
Korean Serpent’s Hand
Logos Inc. is not aware of the Korean Serpent’s Hand.
Section XXV
Logos Inc. got its hands on a few remains of Section XXV, although its knowledge regarding it is next to nonexistent.

Meat Circus

- Collective of "artists" that deal in the reshaping of human bodies - Possesses three departments with different methods of "art creation" - Each department aims to create the ultimate work of art, the "Masterpiece" - Hostile towards of the Foundation - Not above abducting and killing people in its pursuit of art

The Meat Circus is worried about the ongoing recruiting attempts of the Hive among its members.

The Meat Circus doesn't pay NOTE much attention., even though renegades from the Meat Circus join NOTE occasionally.

"Progress" Research Institute

"Progress" Research Institute
Origin: Active in: Creator:	USSR USSR Arbelict
- Small research institute created 1919 to research the anomalous to further attain the ideals of communism and to gain the upper hand over the NATO - Was staffed with very idealistic researchers but they became gradually disillusioned thanks to the Soviet government - On the 12 July 1988 the majority of the Institute started a Heist, stealing and destroying many of its creations to never be found again by the KGB - Nowadays, remains of the Institute can be found on the black market - Stance towards the Foundation is unknown - Did not wish to inflict suffering, however, some research subjects experienced horrendous side-effects from experiments

The Hive was a subject of research among the scientists as to unify the minds of the people under Communism and to maybe sway the government body to they side of thoughts.
