Rewrite of the previous version of the page by Aelanna.
The Foundation maintains and operates a large number of facilities worldwide, from small outposts with only a handful of staff to large complexes with thousands of personnel. The following document contains a list of major Foundation facilities, but is not intended to be fully comprehensive.
These facilities are divided into Sites, locations known to the public but with their true purpose disguised behind government or corporate fronts, and Areas, which are completely unknown to the public, generally due to their remote locations. For further information, see the "Definitions of Facility Types" section at the bottom of this page.
Any inconsistencies in the following document are inevitable by-products of compartmentalization, redaction, disinformation, anomalous influence, and database errors.

サイト-11
Location: Lansing, Michigan, USA
サイト-11 is a large-scale Foundation facility consisting of an entire self-sustaining community, complete with residential housing, commercial businesses, and industrial/manufacturing facilities, as well as an extensive underground containment and research complex. The Foundation tracks all personnel and civilians within サイト-11, and so the facility is often used as a safe location for personnel requiring additional security and protection.
Objects contained at this Facility are listed in its Secure Facility Dossier.
/
Protected サイト-14
Location: Sacramento, California, USA
サイト-14 is the primary hub for the SCP Foundation's Telecommunications Monitoring Office. It is their largest facility worldwide, with a staff of more than 1300 Foundation employees, screening calls from across the western hemisphere. It also serves as the location of the primary servers for the Emergency Services Anomaly Screening (ESAS) algorithm, responsible for parsing all phone calls made to emergency services in the western hemisphere.
/
サイト-15
Location: Santa Clara Valley, California, USA
サイト-15 is a Foundation facility specialising in the containment and study of electric, electronic, and computer-based anomalies, within a building designed to blend in amongst the civilian tech companies of Silicon Valley. The storage and containment wings of サイト-15 are electromagnetically isolated to prevent any interaction between anomalous electronics and the outside world. The Site also serves as the headquarters of the Foundation's IT department and Artificial Intelligence Applications Division (AIAD), managing Foundation databases and communications worldwide.
/
サイト-17
Location: [DATA REDACTED]
サイト-17 is the second largest Foundation facility, primarily focused on the containment and study of low-risk humanoid entities, although the Site has additional capacities for the containment of inanimate objects, non-humanoid creatures, and higher risk anomalies. As per its main focus, サイト-17's permanent staff includes a large number of medical and psychiatric professionals, to deal with the unique physical and psychological needs of both the contained anomalies and the on-site staff working in this challenging environment.

サイト-19
Location: [DATA REDACTED]
サイト-19 is the largest and one of the most important Foundation facilities currently in operation, housing hundreds of Safe- and Euclid-class anomalies, some located within additional Facilities separate from the main Site. サイト-19 also has dedicated laboratories for the processing and storage of Anomalous Items not warranting their own Special Containment Procedures. Site security is prioritized, since the danger of containment breaches is heightened by the large number of anomalous objects contained in one location. Despite these dangers, サイト-19 staff are notorious for their casual approach to low-risk anomalies.

サイト-41
Location: Central Colorado, USA
サイト-41 serves as the headquarters of the Antimemetics Division, which investigates objects and concepts that are anomalously difficult to remember or communicate. サイト-41 is used for training, research and the containment of SCP objects that require experts in antimemes. A side-effect of its research is that サイト-41 is often overlooked or forgotten, and so the "サイト-41" designation has been mistakenly reused to refer to unfinished, abandoned or completely different facilities.

サイト-45
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
The American サイト-45 was established as a provisional measure to contain an abnormally high number of anomalous events in the Las Vegas district. The Site specialises in anomalies relating to religion and mythology, and consults on offsite anomalies such as SCP-2988 and SCP-3998. The Site itself consists of three connected structures - an office building within city limits (Site-45-A), a newer facility disguised as a private mental care institution (Site-45-B) and a subterranean research facility (Site-45-C).
/
サイト-54
Location: Leipzig, Saxony, Germany
サイト-54 is a containment facility located in, around, and underneath the city of Leipzig. Specialising in the containment of those anomalies deemed "partially uncontainable", the Site's staff are heavily armed, highly trained, and permanently on edge. Featuring an extensive rapid-response vehicle hangar (with transport both normal and anomalous) and a wide array of holding cells, Site-54 is generally considered to be the Foundation site both best-prepared for the worst to happen, and the location at which said worst is most likely to occur.

サイト-56
Location: Black Rock Desert, Nevada, USA
Established in May 1972, サイト-56 was intended to serve as the base of operations for the enactment of the Kraken Protocol within the American Southwest. Over time, サイト-56 took on increasing responsibilities, eventually transitioning into one of the largest containment and administration sites in the US, responsible for select offsite anomalies such as SCP-5994 and SCP-5952. However, recent Overwatch audits suggest its expansion has surpassed its budgetary and logistical limitations, and personnel frequently cite its "labyrinthine" structure as a detriment to day-to-day operations.

Biological Research エリア-12
Location: Disclosed only to relevant personnel
Why?
Serving as the Foundation's premier bio-research facility, Area-12 manages many satellite instillations spread across one of the largest areas of land currently under Foundation control. Hidden behind the guise of an NSA Radio Quiet Zone, the land was sought for the use of its real estate in bio-experimentation, pure creation & purpose, and for its highly remote location; ensuring the secrecy of the primary underground mountain facility and the safety of the general public in the event that one of the facility's many (seemingly overabundant) contingencies need to be utilized.
Why?
Area-12 contains primarily Low-to-Medium Risk, Safe & Euclid-class anomalies through divisions such as Parabiology & Rhizospherics and Parazoology, preferring to only manage High Risk, Keter-class objects when absolutely necessary for relevant research projects. Typically managed through divisions such as Humanoid & Esoteric Research and Metamemetics.

施設分類
サイト
Foundation facilities designated as Sites are covert facilities, meaning that while the existence of the facility is known to the public, such facilities are often disguised with government or corporate fronts. Sites are often built in relatively close proximity to civilian populations, where facilities would require such cover.
エリア
Foundation facilities designated as Areas are clandestine facilities, meaning that civilians are not aware of their existence at all. Such facilities are often built far away from civilian populations and may contain highly dangerous anomalies and extreme fail-safe measures such as on-site nuclear warheads.
Outposts
Outposts are small facilities subordinate to a nearby Site or Area, used to contain immobile objects or to monitor anomalous locations.
Observation Posts
Observation Posts are tiny facilities, often small standalone buildings or single units within larger buildings, and are typically used to monitor regional communications, nearby Foundation facilities, or immobile SCP objects. Many Observation Posts also serve as secure communications hubs or safe-houses for undercover Foundation agents.
接頭辞
These prefixes are often used to denote specializations of facilities or facility sections and are often omitted even in internal communication. These prefixes are not exclusive and can be used together to form a Facility name. Certain terms have been assigned their own color codes to enable Sites and Areas with a similar function to be more easily identified.
武装 (Armed)
Armed denotes a facility or facility section with abnormally high physical security concerns, either due to containment of violent hostile entities or threat of outside attack. Such facilities typically have a large amount of military-grade weaponry and vehicles as well as a disproportionately large number of permanent security staff; in the case of a full facility, this typically entails a detachment of at least battalion or regiment strength.
生物 (Biological)
Biological or Bio-facilities contain and research living organisms and infectious or otherwise biohazardous anomalies. These facilities are both isolated and self-contained to prevent the escape and spread of these entities.
収容 (Containment)
Containment facilities or facility sections are primarily equipped and intended for the mass containment of anomalous objects, entities, or phenomena.
次元 (Dimensional)
Dimensional containment facilities or facility sections deal with extradimensional apertures or anomalies exhibiting inconsistent or warped spacetime, or anomalies of ontokinetic nature in general.
人間型 (Humanoid)
Humanoid containment facilities or facility sections primarily deal with sentient, sapient human or near-human entities capable of understanding and complying with instructions, and often attempt to develop means of communication with them to facilitate containment.
Exclusionary
Most often used by Δt personnel, Exclusionary Sites are unaffected by reality-changing effects, and are often built outside of reality itself.
Extrasolar
Extrasolar Facilities are located outside of the Solar System containing the planet Earth.
Lunar
A Lunar facility is located on the moon, for the containment of extraplanetary anomalies.
保護 (Protected)
Protected facilities and facility sections are "safe zones" kept free of anomalous influence. No anomalies are allowed within these facilities at any time. Generally used for administration, data storage, and for housing essential personnel.
保護 (Protected)
Provisional facilities are those that are established or built around an immobile anomaly. Provisional facilities typically contain only a single anomaly, although many Provisional facilities have later been expanded to contain additional anomalies.
遺物 (Reliquary)
Reliquary facilities or facility sections are designed for handling artifacts and objects of religious or historical significance.
研究 (Research)
Research facilities or facility sections are designed for either the handling and study of anomalies or anomalous materials, or research and development into new containment schemes and methods.
保管 (Storage)
Storage facilities or facility sections are intended for long-term mass storage of non-anomalous material or inert anomalies with no risk of autonomous interaction, including Anomalous Items and inanimate Safe-class SCP objects.
Surveillance
Surveillance sites monitor their surroundings, or send field operatives out further afield, in order to search for anomalies not currently in containment.
Xenobiological
Xenobiological sites specialise in the containment and study of organisms with biology differing dramatically from most Earth resident species, typically due to an extraterrestrial, extradimensional, or other anomalous origin.
What Is This Page?
This is a list of Foundation facilities that have been extensively and consistently used across multiple articles. This list is not intended to be all-inclusive or exhaustive - there's another page for that. If you are writing a work set in the SCP universe, you are free to use any of the existing facilities or to make up your own facility and give it any designation you choose.
In-universe, inconsistencies in the database can be explained by disinformation, timeliness of information, anomalous influence and alternative timelines/realities. For example, サイト-06 was not always located in France and is explicitly listed as the third such facility to receive the designation. Certain other sites might no longer be in operation or even have been deliberately fabricated to mislead agents from rival organizations.
なぜサイト-45が2つあるのですか?(その他サイト番号に関する問題)
著者は自由に施設番号を用いることができ、そのためほとんどの施設番号が一貫性を持たないまま様々な記事で使用されています。これらはしばしば「同一施設」とみなされますが、or omitted due to being very minor, at other times (e.g. with サイト-45) there are multiple versions of the same Site that meet the requirements to be included on this list. If you want an in-universe explanation, perhaps different branches or departments of the Foundation have their own numbering systems?
Just How Big Is The Foundation?
This is entirely up to the author. Some choose to believe that the Foundation is very small, consisting of only half a dozen facilities or less, and no more than a thousand personnel - in which case, it makes a lot of sense to include only a few of these facilities (or none at all) in your personal version of the Foundation. Some choose to believe that the Foundation is vastly larger and far-reaching, employing hundreds of thousands of personnel squirreled away in hundreds of facilities around the globe - perhaps all of these facilities and every number in between! Neither is incorrect, and whatever works better to further your narrative is the one that's appropriate.
An important thing to remember is that there is not one canon, but many, and the above list is merely a collection of some of the more noteworthy Sites and Areas that have been consistently used in articles. The fact that they coexist on this page does not mean they all coexist in-universe as well - that's entirely up to the author.
What are all these Site and Area Insignia?
These were created by Jerden and HarryBlank, primarily to make this page more visually appealing and easier to navigate. They can be freely used (or freely ignored) outside of this page, and anyone is welcome to create alternative designs or make additional logos for other sites - many already have logos in various styles. Advice and templates are attached to this art page.
Anyone is welcome to add additional Contained Objects (SCPs) or Notable Incidents (Tales, GoI Formats, and SCPs where the facility is featured prominently but is not actually containing the object) to the entries for existing Facilities, as long as the SCP or Tale doesn't describe the Site or Area in a way that is inconsistent with the description here. If the Facility has its own Secure Facility Dossier, that will generally contain similar lists.
Individual SCPs and Tales linked from this page may still contradict each other since authors are free to use a Facility without considering all other works set there as canon. For new SCPs and tales, it's best to wait a few days before adding it, to make sure that it isn't deleted or rewritten. Humorous Addenda are for Joke SCPs, and for tales that are obvious parodies.
The SCP Lists for サイト-06, サイト-17, サイト-19, サイト-23, サイト-66, サイト-73, サイト-76, サイト-83 and エリア-12 are long enough that they've been placed on separate fragment pages and listed via the include component, as have the サイト-17 and サイト-19 incident lists, but they can still be added to, you'll just have to edit the list on the fragment page.
Requirements for Inclusion
New facilities may be added to this list if the Site or Area has been used in a consistent way in at least five articles (by any author), or if the Site has its own Secure Facility Dossier. Entries that do not meet this requirement will be removed.
Contact Information
This page is the responsibility of the Maintenance and Ancillary Team. If you have any questions about this page or about adding a new site or area to it, contact us via the #mast-help-desk channel on the MAST Discord server, or via IRC chat #site77, or by messaging a member of the MAST Collaboration Pages subteam.
Adding a New Site
If you would like to add a new Site or Area to this list, post the following information in a comment on the discussion page for this article, then contact MAST using the details above. Alternatively, you can add it yourself, if you feel confident putting it into the right format.
- Facility Name and Number (e.g. Armed Biological Containment Area-14)
- A short description of the facility's function, ideally with details that make your Site or Area stand out - we already have a lot of rather generic containment facilities.
- Links to at least five articles describing SCP objects contained there or incidents occurring there, or a link to your Secure Facility Dossier.
A defined location for your site is optional, but including it in the post will enable your Facility to be added to the Map.
If your site is the focus of a canon or tale series, mention this and it can be prominently featured below the description.
The attached .svg templates can be used to create new Site and Area icons in the same style as the ones already on this page, but the creation of a logo is also completely optional, and you can just use the default icon. You're welcome to add insignia in a different style to this page to appear on the popout, especially if there's a more detailed alternative design.
Template for Additions
When adding a new site to the list, using the following template.
[[include :scp-wiki:fragment:site-snippets start=--
|type=site/area |number=XXX
]]
+ Site or Area Name
Description of Site/Area
end=--
To use a custom icon, capitalize サイト or AREA, and add an icon parameter specifying the URL of the image.
[[include :scp-wiki:fragment:site-snippets start=--
|type=SITE/AREA |number=XXX
|icon=https://fake-url.com/your-site-logo.png
]]
There is also an optional color parameter that changes the color of the default logo and number.
[[include :scp-wiki:fragment:site-snippets start=--
|type=site/area |number=XXX
color=(any valid syntax for the CSS background property)
]]
If the Site has a Secure Facility Dossier or features prominently in a Canon, it can be given a more noticeable link in addition to or instead of the SCP and Incident collapsibles:
div class="doc-link"
[ Secure Facility Dossier]
/div
Adding to the Map
If a facility is added to this list, it can also be added to the map (if it has a known location on planet Earth). Instructions for doing this can be found on the page where the map is hosted. There is also a Map of International Branches and Facilities, hosted on the International Translation Archive - see that page for more information on that version of the map.
